Well, I like the idea but I think Mk6 needs Kitana, shes has an excelent concept for her character, great moves, etc. But I do agree that Mileena IS what makes Kitana more interesting, her story (without Mileena) is kind a boring.

Mileena has an extremely original story, one of the ebst of Mk. I hope to see her back in Mk6.

Kitana is my favorite character, but I do agree with everyone's point on her story being old. I'd personally like to see her turn evil somehow, maybe having Lui Kang's death cause her mental instability or something.

While I enjoys the stories with fighting games, I don't buy a fighting game for that reason. I buy it because I like to get good, do combos, and kick my friends ass .. I've done it for years with Kitana and won't do it with anyone else.

It does worry me that with all the negative stuff being said about her story, that maybe boon will see it and not bring her back; however, it could also work on the flip side and revamp her story.

I personally am sick of the stupid clans, but would like to see someone new come and help Kitana, or even have a new rival enemy (ala Mileena). I always liked Rain too.

Sindel may be a great help for Kitana.. She's her mother and I wonder where she is... She suddenly was taken out of the map... Rain would be nice too, but not as a ninja, perhaps as some sort of guardian as you said.

Mileena is an excellent character. But then again if they bring her back ppl would complain that the MileenaVsKitana story is boring, because nowadays I think ppl is finding it all boring... =/ ...

Really? Hmm interesting. So I'm a bit puzzled as to why Kitana hasn't crowned herself queen instead of staying as a princess. Well I think that characters such as Rain and Jade should return. As for Mileena, I think she should stay dead and Baraka should return to avenge her death..but with a bit more to Baraka's storyline than just that...

As some of us know, Noob Saibot was responsible for Goro's death, so if Kitana discovers that it is Noob who attacked Goro, then Kitana will probably have a connection to Noob's storyline (if Noob Saibot is in MK6).

Or Kitana, can slowly go to the "dark side".

I think U are referring to the Mk4 comic book, right? Well, actually there is no proof she is dead. Kitana is STILL called princess, she never got the throne in Mk4 when Mileena was referring to her as “Princess” and saying that SHE (mileena) wanted to be Princess of Edenia.

So, SIndel could be alive (which I hope). She would really be an interesting icon to Kitnanas story. Besides, IMO she is the Best New character in Mk3.

I think that an new edinian guardian is a great idea and why not let it be Rain? After all no one knows what he looks like under the outfit. He could be another creature( Similiar to reptile only like an eagle or seomthing) or he can be a descendant of an elder god sent to help kitana.
I think Mileena should stay dead because #1 people would complain that story was run into the ground and 2 she died three times already..lol

Where did you hear that Noob killed Goro, all it says is that he fell in battle. If it's true it would be interesting though.

This is Noob Saibot's story and ending from MKTE.

"Story: Still under orders from Shao Kahn, Noob Saibot was commanded by the emperor to eliminate any groups or individuals whose power might pose a threat to Shao kahn's rule in Outworld. Many would-be leaders have been slain by the dark ninja, but his current target will be his most challenging.

Ending: The allied forces of princess Kitana and prince Goro were locked in Mortal Kombat with Shao Kahn's army when Noob Saibot made his move on an unsuspecting and battle-weary prince Goro. The two fought savagely, but it was Noob Saibot who gained the upper hand and mortally wounded Goro."

Of course, it doesn't mean Noob Saibot will be in MK6, but it could at least give Kitana more meaning than she has had recently if he does make an appearance.

As for other Edenian warriors, I think a they sound like a decent idea. With 3D graphics, obviously Rain nor Jade will be simply clones. And as said many times above, Rain should be unmasked. I've never cared much for Jade really, but there have been alot of characters involved with Kitana's storyline once and only Reptile appeared in MKDA. Kitana isn't the type of character who can stand alone, she'll need some other factors involved with her storyline before I will become interested again.

Noob's storyline, not his ending, verifies he was after Goro. We know Goro was killed in battle, so to me the pieces add up. Noob Saibot's ending doesn't effect anyone other than himself and Goro, so most likely this is a true ending.

Well, to me, some of the endings are what-ifs. It seems that after MKT, the endings have become less of what-ifs (for example Scorpion's MK4/MKG ending and Liu Kang's MK4/MKG ending both occured in the MK storyline). As for Noob Saibot's ending, it most likely happened since it explains in a bit more detail to Goro's demise.
