im not surprsied at all. The first MKDA for gba was awful. They shouldve made it 2d. 3d on gba looks and plays like crap.

Ah well. I think Pocketeers should do the GBA rendition of MK6. They have a VERY impressive 3d engine, and in talking with them I have been told that with only 2 characters on screen they could go all out in detail and animation (flowing clothing, etc).

EGM isnt a good game magazine there good with getting the latest games but not good with reviews.especially xbox i dont think they like the box at all.
but we all have our own opinions

Anyway, lets not forget that the general gaming public arnt to kind to the Mortal Kombat series as a whole. :-[

I think that EGM doesn't like Mortal Kombat

Here in Brazil is the same with the brazilian version of EGM

EGM hardly ever gives Mortal Kombat a decent rating for some stupid reason.

The only time where they liked Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance was when they had a picture of Li Mei doing her Baji Quan pop-up (B+4, i think) and Rayden was...going for the silver, as they called it...and then another picture of Li Mei/Kano, as he was going for the gold, as they described it, too...Either way, I don't really like EGM when it comes to reviews

egm has always treated mk like crap. they even said (about mkda) that "its the same game we got tired of years ago"...hello!! nothing about it is the same. i bet that person didnt even play the damn game.

i remember when mk4 got decant scores, and mk gold got a 1.0 a freakin 1.0! they called it "mk4.5" and that the bouncy gameplay was getting old. graphics it got a 10, but everything else it scored low. i think boon should have just called it mk4 for the dreamcast. then maybe they wouldnt have been so hard on mk...but im sure they would find something else to complain about.

mkda didnt even make the cover of egm this time around...but when mk6 comes out, and egm goes kissing ass (cause we all know its only up from mkda)i hope ed boon sues them for printing any info about the game. i have thought about sending them angry letters quite a few times, but its not worth my time.

yeah, Ive always felt like EGM just says stuff on what the general gamer wants to hear about a particular game, they want to make themselves popular like that or something, just my 2 cents.
