Lets bring back the Endurance Round! But my version has a different approach. Lets say you enter Endurance Round, you do not fight two people, and they are not known characters – they could either be monks or ninjas. Based on the difficulty level, you fight more than just two people. Novice – 10 ppl, Easy – 30 ppl, Medium – 60 ppl. Hard – 90 ppl and Max – 120 ppl. You fight ten enemies at a time, and you are able to switch between which enemy you will attack. After ten enemies are down, ten more appear until you reach the limit and pass that level. When you kill an enemy, their body does not disappear, so the benefits of beating this round on Max is seeing 120 dead bodies in a pool of blood. Of course, the AI wont be extremely hard, just the task of countering 10 different attacks. You could think of this like Matrix – Reloaded where Neo takes on wave after wave of Agent Smith’s. Now that’s Endurance.

If they used the ol’ 1 vs 2 where another guy jumps in after the first guy is defeated, this may be an excellent way to implement characters that are not playable, but people would love to see (a match vs old school reptile and rain, or a match vs raiden and Sektor)

let me know wat u think of this idea, how it could be improved etc. thnx for your thought.

I think that your idea would be too hard for the programmers to make. 120 people? 11 on screen at a time (including your own player)? That's quite a bit for one round. I would like to see edurance rounds though, or a tag-team mode in the game.

I think It ́s IMPOSSIBLE that could happend....
120 dead bodies on screen????????? are you crazy???
Probably on an PS3 or XBOX 2...and maybe either....
BUT it ́s a good idea that you must battle with more than 2,3,4 or more characters...(not at the same time)..
