We all know that in MK:DA when playing as Kenshi in konquest. It says that he was taught some telekinesis by Ermac. After Kenshi released him from Shao Kahn’s dungeon.
Here it is taken from konquest.

Kenshi sympathized with the plight of the enigmatic combatant, Ermac. The Outworld warrior spirits that had manifested themselves in the form of a ninja had been violated by Shao Kahn in much the same way that Kenshi’s ancestors had been enslaved by Shang Tsung. Kenshi was taught the telekinetic slam by Ermac in return for freeing him from the control of the Emperor.

It is also common knowledge that Ermac is a body of souls used by Shao Kahn.
Here is the text from his bio from UMK3 and MKT stating this.

An enigma to all who come into contact with him, Ermac’s past remains shrowded in mystery. It’s believed that he exists as a life force brought together by the souls of extinguished Outworld warriors. Shao Kahn has managed to take possession of these souls, and use them to fight on the side of tyranny.

His ending from UMK3 and MKT are as follows.

When Kahn finally eliminates his opposition, he finds a new and surprising foe in Ermac. The Outworld souls that give life to the warrior did not trust their tyrannical leader who planned to consume the powerful life force for his own power.

Even Shao Kahn’s power was no match for the overwhelming strength of legions of deceased Outworld warriors. They destroyed their master in a battle that devastated the entire realm. Ermac was left behind to rule it with his own brand of oppression.

Here is my theory.

Ermac’s true history is that when the Dragon King died. Thousands and Thousands of warriors were sacrificed to be in his undefeatable army. Their souls were stripped from their bodies and shaped into a body by the Dragon King’s priest. These souls are what make up Ermac. Ermac was to originally be used to protect the dragon egg. The souls had no plans of serving the Dragon King. Ermac tricked the warrior Blaze into becoming the protector of the dragon egg. Slowly over time the souls no longer controlled Ermac. His own personality came out.

Then many years later he was controlled by Shao Kahn until his eventual release by Kenshi.

His story could go a)evil or b)good here.
a)With the Dragon King’s rebirth Ermac has lost control and is now under the control of the evil tyrant the Dragon King. The Dragon King learnt of Ermac’s alliance and friendship with the Earthrealm warrior Kenshi. The Dragon King devised a plan in which Ermac told Kenshi that the Red Dragon members were planning an assault on the Outerworld investigation agency. Then they would trap the Special Forces and halt them from interfering with his plans. Kenshi told his commander Sonya and they set up a counter force. This force consisted of Jax Briggs, Sonya Blade, Cyrax and Kenshi. Ermac offered his services as he still owed Kenshi a deed. It was not long until Movado and his fellow Red Dragon members arrived. The Special Forces rushed to attack. Hsu Hao used a weapon to blow away part of the building shards of metal scattered everywhere. Ermac used his telekinesis to pick up the shards. It looked as if he was going to propel them towards Hsu Hao. He flicked his hand backwards. The shards crashed into the Special Forces warriors Sonya, Jax and Cyrax. Their bodies became stuck to the wall. Cyrax’s fuel hose was cut and he was in shutdown. Kenshi managed to stop the shards using one of the techniques Ermac had taught him. Kenshi ran back inside and took off in one of the vehicles that were inside the agency. Ermac grunted as the Red Dragon took off after him. Kenshi escaped and Hsu Hao was blamed by the Dragon King for his getting away. Hence Hsu Hao was thrown in the Dragon King’s dungeon. Kenshi had been deceived and he wants to rescue the members of the Special Forces that survived.

b)When the Dragon King was reborn, the dormant souls that make up Ermac’s body were enraged. They took control over Ermac’s mind. He still had control over his body. His thoughts are what he had lost control over. No longer could he think for himself. The souls were now thinking for him. These souls had only one aim, to get revenge for their slaughtering long ago, to destroy the Dragon King at any cost. The souls were happy to ally with anyone who would dare face the might of the Dragon King. Through his travels Ermac had learnt of a great power that only gods could release. This power is the ethereal blast. It was through his ally and friend Kenshi that he met Sonya, who linked him with one of the last remaining gods, the thunder god Raiden. Ermac told of his passion to destroy the Dragon King. Raiden had a strong passion to protect Earthrealm. Raiden was happy to help destroy the Dragon King and was already preparing warriors to kombat the Dragon King. He was ardent to help. As Ermac is an enigma he used his ability to persuade and perplex individuals he convinced Raiden to use the ethereal blast to stop the Dragon King. Unfortunately this did not work and Ermac continues his quest to destroy the Dragon King.

I feel that Ermac could be a very deceptive individual and a key player in Deception.

Any opinions, views, ideas and advice would be greatly appreciated.

That is an EXCELLENT theory, -NIGHTWOLF-!!! That makes perfect sense for Ermac to be in Deception. I think you hit the nail on the head there.

Nice work, -Nightwolf-. You're certainly right that he could go either way; good or evil.

So many wildcards in Deception. I'm just getting more excited by the day.

I love Ermac ́s scream as he falls down onto the pole in one of the deception videos.
