Ermac or Mavado?

I was wondering what made every one guess the red charater was Ermac it could be Mavado in a different costume. I didn't see anything that could make him Ermac he didn't do any Ermac moves. Also though he didn't do any Mavado movies either but I was wondering what made everyone so sure. Let me know prove me wrong!

On the count of Midway confirmed it being Ermac, I would say it's Ermac.

Even though right now the majority of people think that the red guy is Ermac based simply because he is red, I happen to think that it is someone totally different.

Well, I don't know about everyone else, but I think it's Ermac because Midway confirmed it. I know it's a longshot, but still.

It's been confirmed that it is Ermac, but we'll have to wait and see to be entirely sure.

where did it say exactly that ermac is confirmed someone please tell me give me an address so I can read it myself becuase I haven't seen anywhere that ermac is confirmed but here. and if you think that what they said at gamespot is a confermation it's not they are not the makers of the game and they said they think it's ermac so someone give an address so I can see what yall talkin about.

It has already been cofirmed by Midway that he is Ermac. I personally don't see what the big deal about him is anyway. He was a half-assed slapped on character to Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, and had terrible moves and Fatalities. I did however, love his storyline. On the other hand, I did like Mavado from DA, and hope he makes a return to lead the Red Dragon against the Lin Kuei.
