second these *?"@&% mini-games take too much space. I mean chess kombat can pass but puzzle kombat! cmon! this is mortal KOMBAT. do you hear me KOMBAT!!... KOMBAT! if this mini-game needed kombat skills i'd probably shut-up but now where just trying to sell this game to kids and to simple-minded people!!

Third the story would be so though to put up and understand everything that every character does.

Midway will never do that.What's the sence in putting 42 character for deception then 30 for mk7?

Actually I think theres more the 42 counting sub boss's and boss's etc. I think there were 30 or 40 in MKT

First of all, there are 53 characters excluding the new Deception characters. If you count out Chameleon, Khameleon and Meat, there are 50 characters. Here check out my select screen.



As much as I want to see a MKT2, it won't happen in this game. This game looks great, the roster is amazing. Let's just hope it will be like an addon (MKG, MKTE) for example.

And for those of you complaining about mini games, you are just stupid. I bet when you get the game you're gonna get hooked up on these games. These games make the content versatile and add much to the replayability value.

maybe you're right but I just don't know... chess kombat seems kool but look at puzzle kombat man. I never tought that mortal kombat would look like this in my whole life. It just dosen't fit with the feeling that mortal kombat provides. And that feeling is created with dark realistic surrealism, ways of killing people that feels totally insane. Such a great game diserves the credibility that it should have. that crappy point of view was provided by might ( go on throw me the last tomatoes you've got)

Actually excluding MKM and MKSF and MKD there are 41 characters in the MK universe 10 from MK1 11 from MK2 12 from the MK3 series and 8 from the MK4 series 10+11=21 21+12=33 33+8=41.

I doubt we are getting every single MK character from the universe but I think there will be plenty of characters that will be playable but will not be true characters in the sense that they wont have a purpose in the MKD storyline.
Just correcting my last post, there is indeed 53, add on 12 more from the MKDA series
