fatalities are going to be weird when performed on liu kang and smoke

let me start off with liu kang, if lui kang comes back as a spirit, how the hell are you going to kill what is already dead. logical this concept of killing a spirit liu kang( if it is confirmed) just bothers me. if he is a undead zombie it will make some sense, if he is a spirit you would never be able to grab or hit him. if he is spector like scorpion then i can understand.

now for smoke, who is now a transparent being, it will look weird when he explodes. is he going to be like the invisable man, he becomes visable when he dies. it will be very arward when scorpion or melinna do there rip and beat fatality, what is he going to be hitting him with.

what are your thoughts on this

Good points. I'm not sure how they'll do it. I just hope MK doesn't turn Ghostbusters on us! lol tongue

in liu kang's primary costume he will most likely be a zombie, since we saw him in chess kombat all green. i don't know what would happen if he was a ghost in his alt.

and as for smoke, he's not entirely invisible, there's a pic of him, he wears clothes that u can see, and the parts that u can't are visible but see-through. see i think it'll work out great.

all i now is that if he is coming back as that it just doesn't feel right, killing a ghost is not logically possiable.

i think it is best if he comes back like spectra like scorpion, he retains his body as from smoke, it would look weird if there are trasparent limbs and chunks everywhere. to me at least, they should make it like the invisable man, who becomes visable upon death

i still dont think that Liu is in this game. it was definitely not him on the chess screenshot. Looked like Kobra's hoodless costume with the green reflection of the energyball and the poor resolution giving it the 'zombie' appearance.

lol, u can clearly see liu kang's pony tail in one of the newest videos (the pic has been posted in one of the liu kang related threads). and kobra has like blonde hair...

yup but that blackness is the shadow on the raised arms, not hair. dont forget they hold their hands up with that energy ball above them, or whatever it is.

enrich the texture and , dissect the color values with a photoshopping program and you ll get a much clearer view.

I bet Kang will be like the hidden characters from MK2 and MK3. You can't do a fatality on them. Just my thought. As far as doing fatalites on Smoke, but bet it will look something like Reptile's counter part from MKT ( can't spell his/her name correctly) :.\.

well ok if you cant have a civil discussion on something like i was trying to do, then dont bother posting. i swear of all the games i play, this has the most immature and youthful base.

anyways, youre maturity issues aside, i ve looked at the image enhanced and you can see two things, its the shadow of his arm(theres no visible hair), and hes not wearing red. sorry to burst everyones bubble.

im done. argue all you want. you kids are too speculative.

rad-x...there is a NEW vid of the same chess match where the board is rotated 180 degrees and you can see the back of the character in question AND you see him in motion and he bows or something and you can see 3 things for certain
1. green skin
2. Liu Kang pants
3. A LONG BLACK PONYTAIL
BTW if that is the glow from the orb making him "appear green" then why is this the first and only vid/pic of that effect on any character????

Busted....now please bow out, you are making observant ppl pissed with your silly photoshop talk

To the original post I am also curious as to how they think they are going to get around the Smoke / Liu Kang spirit vs fatality. I hope they don't let Liu Kangs spirit bleed and have body parts hehe

I made a thread about this not too long ago. People were probably put off by the length though, seeing as how half the newbies are more semi-illiterate than me.

Anyway, i don't believe that picture was Liu Kang.
It just seems like people are over analysing things again (12:43 anybody? Or how about the markings on the arena floor?). If you use enough imagination, you can make out that the figure is actually Vogel himself...I can see his Specs!

i agree if liu does come back as a spector ike scorpion, and he retains his human body then yes fatality will not be an issue, it say spirit not specotr, i was assuming diferently

i my be noob to this board but not MK. i believe in get to the point with out being wordy if it is not needed
