It's already been done; please check out MK: Tournament Edition for weapon fatalities.

fix them up in MK.DA all the time the guy blows into chunks...dont do that...with raidens fer example leave the body charred....weaponalities would be good alt...stab in stomach and rip up..for reptile he wraps tail around oppenent and holds upside down infront of him then decapitates oponenet.
