MKD is gonna be the papa of all fighting games. It keep getting better and better. It's gonna make MKDA and MK2 seem like some garbage you see in a dump. MKD is gonna make Midway filthy rich!

To be the best fighting game that ever existed, it needs more than fatalities and extra modes of play or 50 characters, it needs the BEST and most comprehensive fighting gameplay engine. MK so far has been severely lacking in the gameplay department. It's no Street Fighter.

Hopefully MKD will prove me wrong.

More like its no Soul Caliber, Virtua Fighter, or Tekken now. Dont get me wrong, Mk will always be my favorite of the fighting game genre but if they want to compete in the realm of 3D fighters then there gonna have to expand beyod simple fighting engines into more complex ones. DA was a big step in the right direction, but still lacked in some area's that could have easily been improved upon.All the extra features and fatalities and stuff are great but if the core gameplay lacks the game will still lack.Even though MK has a much much better story than any other fighting game around,its still a few steps behind when it comes to complex gameplay.But I have no dought that MK will reign supreme again.

hopefully it will be the best fighting game of the year.Thats if it beats all those other fighters like tekken5,virtua fighter final tuned,and kof 3d.

I specifically mentioned Street Fighter because some Street Fighter games are YEARS old (in fact most if not all of them) yet people around the world play them constantly, regardless of the graphics. There is a reason people still play Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, a game more than a decade old. Good addictive and competitive gameplay.

INDEED!!!!!! Deception has alot going for it and looks to be the best fighting game ever made. I never really liked Soul Calibor or Virtua Fighter. I did like Tekken and Street Fighter and Dead or Alive is a pretty damn good fighting game. DoA:U is just a remake of a past DoA game so it dosen't really got me going. MK is back as the king of fighters.

There was 1 thing I liked from Soul Calibur-Falling off... and MK took that and made it 999999999999999*10*999999 times better!!!

i think that out of all the fighting games....tekken isbetter then mk in the way of fighting and buton stlyes...and doa for jsut the way its put together but mk da was really good and unique way of puttibng it together making it fun but.....mk deception looks sweet but the fatality ideas are dumb sry.....sum are cool like subzeros , and bring back all the characters, and like suberzos old moves (he might acaulyl be a fav of mine now...but his fur around the neckstill loosk gay)HELL i even like the dragon king!! but as for that new kano girl her knife fatitly sux...wheres the gruesum moves like rip out thier intestines and hang them with them fatlity?

I'll agree MK is back and it has returned better than ever. It looks great. I won't say it is the best until I've played it but it does look like the best fighting game ever at the moment.

Deception looks like it'll be a really good game and sell well but it's not the best fighting game, to be the best fighting game you got to have the best fighting engine which MK hasn't had so far, and apart from it being faster, Deception doesn't look that much different from Deadly Alliance in terms of gameplay, everywhere else suggests it's going to be the most anticipated fighting game this year, it'll probably sell great as well, but I'd like to have that step-up in gameplay that all games professionals are capable of, before I'll call it the best fighting game.
