Ok people, I am stuck here, hopefully you can all help me out!! I have xbox and ps2. I dont know what system to get Deception on. Will both have the collectors version featuring the orginal arcade perfect mk and will there be that much of a difference in graphics.(i didnt notice that much of a difference on mkda). Also what is the core system that the game is being created on? ps2 or x box. Please if you guys can help me out here. me and my friends dont know which system to get it for and we know that Xbox users will be unable to play ps2 users becuase of the different networks. Your help will be appreciated.
Thank You!
Thank You!

I have both and the X-Box does have better graphics, but not by as much as some will have you believe. It does have faster load times but the load screens in DA weren't that long and MKD will be about as long. The PS2 has better control by far,it takes some getting use to the X-Box's bigger controler. It just comes down to which system do you play more the X-Box or PS2 that should be the deciding factor. Both are fine systems no matter what fanboys have to say just go with the system that you are most use to playing on.

Most people probably have bought smaller controllers for the X-Box if they're serious gamers, when it comes down to it. That's it's main flaw, but atleast it's fixable.
About Me
Laugh if you like. Doesn't matter. Assume that you're so much smarter than the poor, broken lunatic. Doesn't matter. But think about this: Your a dead thing, same as me. You died and were reborn...as this. What makes you and me different? Simple -- I remember what I saw when I was full and truly dead. You'd be mad too.

Ed Boon has OFFICIALLY stated that there will be no difference in the way of graffics and load time between X-Box or PS2. PS2 controllers are deffinitely the superior when it comes to fighting games. I would say more people have ps2 then xbox so there will more likely be more people on the PS2 servers then XBOX.

eventully youll have to make the choice yourself. none of us are gonna be there holding your hand when you buy the game. so keep in mind what you know for sure and decide for yourself.

How many threads are there like this anyway? Why can't people just make up their own mind...

If you want some facts,I can break some down.Ok let's see here.
Xbox=HDTV and THX sound support.Crisper sharper graphics with or without a HDTV.Steady xbox live support(no dropped games,no gliching,no gamesharks). If you don't like the xbox controls, you can always use a ps2 or gc to xbox adapter.Your choice of three different special edition MK covers.
Ps2=Free online.Sturdy controls.One special edition MK cover.
You do the math.

Firstly, WELCOME to the Forum!
Hmm, I'd say get the game for PS2(since I own one) lol... But seriously, it boils down to what you want really... So you gotta make that choice by yourself... Or you could just get the game for both systems!! lol...
Cheers

It really doesnt matter, the game was made to Max out with what the PS2 can handle.
If you were asking which version of ESPNs NBA/NFL/NHL game to get, id recommend the Xbox because the game was built for the Xbox and toned down to work on the PS2, but since thats not the case with MKD, go with whichever console u prefer.
I got both, the Xbox Type-S controlls are perfectly fine and anyone who uses the size of the Xbox controller and its ease of use in fighting games as a reason not to get it for Xbox, has obviously not touched an xbox for 3 years other than when walking into a a gamestop.
You got both, so u dont need me to tell you that the Xbox controllers are fine... even tho i just did (lol). So basically it comes down to person preferance, you wont miss out on anything either way you decide to go.
Me personally, I will probably go with the Xbox at first just because I have my Xbox and DVD player always hooked up and for me to play PS2, I have to unplug a couple things so why not just keep it at the Xbox and stay lazy.

Xbox version, and I bought a new S-Controller just for the release of Deception (I noticed the up on the control pad would stick sometimes, but it was from a third party so I bought a Microsoft one) so my gaming would be flawless!
