I want characters to have styles that would actually fit them. Some of the characters look like they had styles that were so half-assed or they just didn't even match the character.

Jax in Deadly Alliance COMPLETELY RUINED the Muay Thai fighting style. They made Muay Thai look more like a bar-fight brawl than the emphasis it has. Muay Thai fighters focus heavily on their legs (scores higher points in official matches) but Jax's ridiculously huge size got in the way of that.

Scorpion and Sub-Zero come from similar ninja clans, yet their styles are completely different. I'd like to see a little similarity in at least one of their styles.

I'll add more onto this at a later moment. Does anybody have any thoughts on the fighting styles themselves and their relation to the user?
