i dont know if you all have ever played Mortal Kombat Mythologies, but when you beat the first level, there is a cut scene, where sub zeros brings scorpians bone to the leader of the lin kuei, the leader have the same exact sort of helmet on as sub zero has now, so im guessing sub zero is the new leader, and it picks up from DA, so he must be, but im happy they left the dress thing alone that the leader from MKM was wearing, but im feeling the helmet Shredder look, honestly i just dont like his alternate oulfit, deception happens right after da right?, i mean damn that mans hair grew extra quick!!! lol, but i thought i would just let you know, i was feelin the old subby look more then anything, but it was time for a change. anyone agree?

I'm completely diggin' the Shred-Zero look. And although I've never played Mythologies it sounds like that little cutscene explains a lot. MK is constantly borrowing from its past (even if they never intended to do what they ended up with originally, ie: Blaze). He is the grand master of the Lin Kuei and his look should reflect that. For all those people who want his old school look, maybe they'll include that as a third costume (if there are third costumes).

My mistake. The 31st Sub-Zero look thread and counting.
I never knew about the whole MKM leader thing. Thanks for the tid-bit.
But, perhaps I'm too naive or stubborn, I thought Sub-Zero's MK:DA look was a startling redesign. Midway went nuts with him this time. Fatality.

Fact of the matter: if the average person likes it, the looks is most likely quite average.

I love his new appearance. Like the thread-starter stated, he finally looks like a grandmaster(as he should).

I really like both of Subs new outfits. I keep going back and forth on which one I like more, and right now it's his more "monk" looking alt.

If Sub Zero had that helmet in Mythologies, then doesn't that improve the chances of this being the older Sub Zero? I thought it wasn't the same Sub Zero as in DA? Was it exactly the same (sorry havn't played it)? Any pics?

no no no, sub zero was not the grandmaster in the game, there was a grandmaster that looked exactly like him, but his suit was more orangish, but looks how sub zeros looks now.

Genesis, you read his post wrong... Anyways, I think Sub-Zero's new costume is his best yet.

lmao how many posts on this do we have on here? but anyways at first i didn't like the new looks cause i love his original look... but after about a day of being iffy on it... it is now one of my favorite looks for him and i like both his suits in this except im still not digging the pony tail in his alt and i don't like the aging effect but his costume is awesome especially love the shredder one....

I think its looks great, the alt. is great too. Scorpion is getting a tad too out there with all the extra metal pieces everywhere, but its not bad either.

I still have two sided feelings of the helmet costume, tough I like it more then when I first saw it.

But

The alt look is heavy for sure.....mos def got an asian feel, and that is what I was misssing a long time.
