For future reference, Barakas Demise did not happen.

Ever since the Mortal Kombat: Deception teaser picture of Baraka has been released, a lot of the forum users have been referencing Barakas Mortal Kombat: Gold ending. Some believe that this cannot be Baraka seeing as how Quan Chi had killed him in that ending, however there is very obvious evidence on why that ending did not happen. I have carefully examined the video and will tell you exactly why that ending did not happen to help clear up the confusion.
In the conversation Quan Chi says, Raiden is Dead, The Elder Gods are dead. This obviously is more proof then any that this ending simply did not happen, seeing is how Raiden became and elder god, which means he wasnt killed by Quan Chi as that ending stated, and neither were the Elder Gods. Baraka also makes reference to Quan Chi basking in his newfound power on the throne of Queen Sindel. The video took place in Outworld, if he was on the throne of Queen Sindel that would be Endina would have never been separated from Outworld, which it was. Baraka also says Everyone in this forsaken realm is dead. Had that been true Shao Khan would have been one of them, why would they feel the need to kill someone who is already dead at the beginning of MK:DA. And that would also mean that all the Nomads were dead, so there would be no chance of a character like Baraka to be in another Mortal Kombat.
You cant treat these former Mortal Kombat endings as if they happened, because if they did about 10 different people would have killed Shao Khan in MK II and MK 3. And if we did treat them as they all happened, there would have been no Mortal Kombat II ever read Raidens ending in Mortal Kombat 1.
I hope this clears some things up for everyone. But that ending simply did not happen, all Mortal Kombat endings are usually What Ifs and end up getting contradicted by the next Mortal Kombat after that one, read all the Mortal Kombat endings, then read the storyline of the next game to prove this point for yourself.
Have A Nice Day!

Let me just say that just because a person didnt win a MK torney doesnt mean it didnt come true. yes some ending dont come true, others do. Its all up to the MK team of course to take bits out of characters ending and form a plot for the character for the next MK game.

Yeah, but that ending had bull**it written all over it. There is no way they would use anything from that ending considering it was 99% false in the end. And I severally doubt the MK: Team would just pop up another random Nomad out of no where, Baraka has history, and a storyline to him already, and fans love Baraka...so why change a good thing.

WRONG
parts of endings get carried over, not the whole endings. stop making that mistake.
and mkg,mkt,umk3,mkte endings do count.
goro becomes good at the end og mkg..and he is good in mkda.
learn the rules of mk and stop acting like u know what happened
baraka could have died, he also could have lived.
we dont know his story yet.

We know Scorpion's ending happened, we know Liu Kang's ending happened, we know Raiden and Fujin's ending happened, we know part of Cyrax's did, and whatever we're not sure about we'll find out later.

I can also add:
Sonya defeated Kano in MK3/U/T in the same spot she did in MKDA.
