Forced to play as Batman?

Has anyone played online and forced to play as Batman? Someone challenged me last night and then scrolled through the stage select screen for a few minutes. Right after he chose a stage it went back to the character select screen and I had to play as Batman. I even hit the button to leave the match before it started and it chose Batman. Anyone else run into this? What's the deal?

yeah i have had that done to me alot . they pick who they want and then scroll through the stage select until time runs out its a scrub move thats all it is

Then as your forced to play as Batman, they expect you to continue with the fight. That's the funny part. What a rude awakening when a scrub gets a person who's actually real skilled with Batman.

I've had this done to me once, but I'm really good with Batman anyway. It just saddens me to see how far people will go to force you to lose in their favor.

BATMAN!!! Lol. Yea this happened to me a couple of days ago. Luckily I'm pretty good with Batman, not the best yet. So I school the newbie and by the end of the 2nd round he disconnects. Never underestimate you online opponent. grin

Would've been nice if the level select appeared after the characters were selected, like MKT.

I wish there was a way to directly contact Midway about things like this, so the fixes can hopefully be included in this supposed forthcoming patch.
