i am new here so i dont know if this has been asked b4 but i thought at one of the mk4 endings Fujin became protecter of Earth. Why isn't he in MK:DA?

As far as I know he's an elder god now. Elder god's don't fight in MK.

he is still the guardian, raiden choose to help earth on his own, no order, fujin has to wait for orders, plus its better to have a back up god just in case raiden's quest fails
