Gamecube- Sounds like it's coming, just a little later

I was reading the Nquery on IGN today, and there was talk about Soulcalibur 3 (the person was asking about it because he claimed Midway shafted Nintendo owners). The reply said that Soulcalibur 3 was in early development and that the mortal kombat situation was not as bleak as it seems.

Although that doesn't confirm anything really, it does seem to point in the direction that there will be a MKD for Gamecube.

I'm still gonna get it for Xbox (I own all 3 systems) for the online play, but I thought Nintendo owners would rather wait at least a while longer for their game and play at their friends' house rather than shell out some cash for a new system if it's difficult for them to afford.

people bought PS2 AND XBOX just for MKD, so I don't think that a lot of people would still want it for GC. However maybe some of them do! confused

Haha, oh god. I sold my Gamecube and bought an Xbox for Mortal Kombat Deception.

*bangs head off of wall*

Still, I really don't think it'll be for the gamecube. If it is though, I believe there will be a gaping hole in my wall.

It does. Its just very poor. If Deception does come to Gamecube, it won't have online play. That's for sure.

Heheheh... I just got another PS2... I wouldn't miss the new Zelda or Metroid for ANYTHING in the world!

Uh didn't Midway drop support for GC acouple of months ago? With MAT2 being the final title out for it?

Yup. But because of the large fanbase of people having Gamecubes, its really up in the air right now.

I have a Gamecube and I'll buy a XBox for Deception... why? Cause the fuckin controls of the Gamecube are so small I'm tired of it.... Anyway, I won't regret it I'm sure.

There aren't any of these on the front page and I made sure of that before I posted it. It was a new article that I read it from and I'm pretty sure that someone at Midway during E3 said they were still debating their decision.

If I could relay this information in order to save someone some cash who could really use it on something else other than a new system, then I'm going to do it. If that's a CRIME like Gangsta makes it out to be, well shit, who cares? I J-walked today too, come get me.

I'm praying this is true. When I bought GameCube I knew that there were people saying that MKD wouldn't come for it... But I risked and bought it, because Nintendo exclusive titles are waaay better than many games for Play2 and X-Box. But I was really upset now thinking I wouldn't have Deception. I really hope this is true!

I don't think that MKD will be on the GC.Midway already reported that they weren't going to make anymore games for Nintendo.If it is true, then I wouldn't know what's happening.

It won't have online play, but I might still get it for collection, though it would be a serious waste of money so I wouldn't bother. There proably wouldn't be that many people interested in playing especially if they have the other versions and can play online.

shoot it better not be on gamecube later on because i already sold my old systems and saved up some extra money just so i can get a ps2. The only system i have right now is gamecube and i might even sell that. But i still dont think its comin out for gamecube due to the "lack of online play"
