I don't think freefall/close kombat looks good at all. Seems like it's going to be canned rock,paper, scissors sequences. I'm thinking Ed was inspired by the fight with Icarus in God of War 2, since he mentioned liking that series in an interview. The problem is in that game you did it once. It was a cool novelty not a key gameplay mechanic. It will probably look cool but it offers no real strategy to the game and it will get old fast.

The game can even play awesomely... but i'm still TOTALLY AGAINST the whole crossover concept, i'm definitely not gonna buy it. Or maybe i'll buy it just to have the pleasure of burning it.

And the gameplay looks blocky and slow to me. Not that great. Hopefully it's better than what I saw

Klose kombat seems really nice but I need to see more, especially on the grappling system. They better get some ideas from other 'fighters', and not put some crappy throws like before..

I still cant really judge the gameplay. I mean what we saw was only about 4 seconds of Subby and Batman fighting.

Wait until E3, then we'll be getting allot more gameplay.

Visually I think the Klose Kombat and Freefall Kombat will look amazing. I believe Boon said they will stress detail on the characters.He said that they're still trying to adjust things with it. However, we must see more gameplay, for now it's all speculations.

I also think, gameplay wise, this game will be a step up from the previous MK games. Since the gameplay in the previous 3D mk games were "okay" at best, this game has the potential to be "good." Sure someone may find a flaw in it most likely just like in every game, but nevertheless, i believe it will be more brutal and exciting gameplay.

This game may be an unpleasant surprise now with the limited info we do have. Once it is released, It will end up being a pleasant surprise. Best fighter for the next gen, watch.

Too early to tell, and certainly too early to cry doom.
