An idea I just had, perhaps being mentioned before, is that perhaps to give characters more character(or perhaps some in particular), is to have some of them taunting their opposition. I'm talking like at the beginning of a round, a character like Kano could point at the other fighting and say something threatening to them like "your going down punk", which would be quite a contrast to the more honorouble fighters such as Kung Lao for instance who would remain quiet and get on with the fight. Likewise, for instance, in MK:DA, when they get up off the ground after losing a round, they sit up and slam their fist on the ground, angry, Kano(or a Kano type character) could say something like "Damn it!!". Perhaps it could also be random so he could say different things randomly. It's kind of like Shao Kahn taunting someone in MK2.

I definitely think this could be utilised to add depth to the characters in similar ways the Dead Or Alive series has, or to a lesser extent what we saw in Tekken Tag Tournament.

It Would Be cool if you Could Have multiple Taunts
Maybe if you taunt enough you could do a very powerful special Attack

Why?

Yeah it couldbe utilised, but it's already been done, eg Soul Calibur etc.

the MK team are obviuosly trying to make a unique fighting game, eg. fighting styles etc, why copy from other games in other area's.
