I think I have figured out how to give presents:
When your Special bar gets to full press on all 4 shoulder buttons......it is not 100% confirmed but I did it at a friends house and that is how I got it to work....... now if there was a real way to get ashra and the other 2 supposed puzzle fighters that are hidden.
I will work on it in the morning........had a hot date and I am kinda sleepy.......

Do you ever see the computer give you presents? At what level do they do it?

George Foreman comes out and knocks out the opponent. Then he gives you a printable coupon for a Foreman grill.

"The Present" is this move your puzzle character does during a puzzle fight

The character pulls out a gift from his back & gives it to his opponent & after a couple of seconds the gift explodes
Im gonna try what u said man & i'll let u know if it worked or not

thre have ben rampant rumors about puzzle kombt, presents and ashra........
from what I have heard this is what you have to do:
give a present to ashra with Ermac in the hells foundry and something about the bird burning and not lose.......at all......... Try looking around these forums or the gamefaqs board...........

wow i remember seeing a character giving the other a present in puzzle when i first rented the game but COMPLETELY forgot about it... i haven't seen it since. there must be something to it. also i've seen randomly explosions happen right in the center of the screen for no apparent reason.. and the character sometimes shoots a fireball at the other character.
