Ok, now I know there has been much ado about Quan Chi's Amulet in Konquest. Now we all know that the amulet u retrieve in the Netherrealm is only a FAKE one, that you need for Shinnok.
Now I don't know if this is a glitch or some kind of hint, but Shinnok won't accept the Amulet after I finished Konquest a second time... I tried punching, talking and running around multiple times, but he still won't accept. I have not tried this, but maybe something special will happen if I fight Quan Chi with the amulet equipped? Or maybe he can be found in Outworld somewhere, as Onaga said, and where the intro flick is staged of course...
Now, I know the makers probably just forgot this, but it might be a good idea to check around Outworld, to see if Quan can be found somewhere at a certain time...
If all of this ain't true, don't sue :O
