I think the Idea isn't good at all, Goro's been alive and kicking ass for 2000 + years, and he's a trademarked charcter. I hate it when they go and try to make a mirror image of an already succesful character, like Mavado and Kabal, but that did work out ok....lol, kabal brutalized Mavados dumbass...

Yes, in MK: The Journey Begins. His name was Durak, but Goro killed him to become the Prince of Shokan.

Did he kill him? All he did was knock him off the cliff...only said he was dead never showed it....plus remember no one dies in mk. Wouldn't be suprised if they resurrect him later on for some wild and stupid purpose.

That only applies to characters that have appeared in the games not characters who were mentioned in bios etc.

If Goro's son appears (I never knew he had one), then it'll most likely be in MK8 or some time after that as MKa is the closing game for the current characters. It wouldn't make sense really to have new characters in only for them to be killed off. Bob is the exception here I guess.

There's no need for deliberating over it or saying obvious sentences like "no one dies in mk", 'cause he most probably will never be in any game. He was just a supporting character from animated movie.


You never knew because he never said he has a son. In Kung Lao's ending in MKG, Goro just supposed that if the original Kung Lao would have defeated him many years ago, perhaps it would be his own son seeking to settle differences with the original Kung.
