I really do wish the computer would do fatalities more often than not if it does beat you. A simple kick or punch (and in the old days, just an uppercut) doesn't quite suffice.

Back on topic, the computer should perform a hari kari after a certain amount of time. Because, in AI standards, they do a hari kari almost immediately before it even finishes saying "FINISH HIM." It would be nice to race your opponent. About five seconds should be enough time to pull off a fatality.

You bring up a good point. I get the horrible feeling that the computer will over use the ability to do hara kiris and it'll be more of an accomplishment when you pull of a fatality...kind of like a game in it's own. That can be a good thing I suppose though...But on the other hand I'm going to love the ability to burn my brother when and if he ever beats me and tries to pull a fatality off and I can just ruin the whole battle by beating him to the punch. Oh, almost forgot, I for one will probably not use a hara kiri when ever I happen to loose to the computer, assuming the hara kiris aren't as visually appealing as fatalities that is...If they manage to make hara kiris as badass as a fatality, then hell, I just might be inclined to loose ^_~

That's actually a good point, if they do make hari karis more original and there's the desire to see them performed woulod you be willing to put your profile record on the line just to see the characters different forms of suicide?

It seems like the whole idea was just made up by a fan, it does not feel like it would fit the game that much

I think that it would be cool to preform a Hari Kiri before the the computer kills you, b/c most of the time they just hit you, and they don't preform their fatalities that often.

I'm going to try to do one every time i lose. Granted i don't lose to computer a lot but with the online aspect of MK:D i'll be playing against people and most likely losing a lot. To lose a match and then kill myself before my friend gets a chance to that makes me extremely happy. Taking away the joy of them performing a Fatality is something i am really looking forward to.
