No it is not, why do you think that? this is a forum for discussions, and this a topic to discuss, the conversation is not over because i present my opinion, and say that i don't think Hara-Kiris are Lame. To me, it is a chance to mess with the cpu, and my friends, should i happen to be defeated

Wait a second, during the time you wrote your last post, you posted yours. i was answering to the other guy, not you. Well i think havin Hara-kiris is a fun option, because exactly, the winner does not get to do his fatality. Wich means that the end of the battle will be just as fast as the battle itself, both players racing to input their button combo before the other. But that's just me.

alright you answered my question that's enough

I like them as long as:

1- When you perform a hari kiri, the announcer doesn't say "HARI KIRI!!!"

2- Your character taunts the opponent before killing him/herself.

So far I like the idea.The more ways to kill the better.

It may be popular or not but i see it like a third fatality even if it is on yourself, look at it that way.

i like the idea. it's something fresh. if you don't like it, don't use it. and if you don't want to see it, don't let the character you defeat do it. simple.

Yup, Hara-kiris are gonna cause controversy, that's for sure. But so did MK when it got out too...

i would love to see kabals hari kira, where he pulls his respirators out, and chokes his ass to death LOL.

or scorpion spearing himself. anyway look at it as a 3rd fatality. everybody hari kira is different so i would like to see them all.

I dont like the idea either. I think they could come up with somethin better like a weapon fatality. Its kinda hard to judge how good the Hari-Kiri finisher is. It may be really awesome. But, until i see an example of a Hari-Kiri, i would still pick somethin else to replace that finisher.

In Japan it should be fine, seeing as hara-kiri is where a japanese samurai uses the smaller sword to kill himself by jamming it into his body at an angle that goes past the ribs and pierces the heart, I think that should be Kenshi's hara-kiri and thothers can have what they want, but Kenshi should have a traditional hara-kiri.

I think it's koool, I mean, it's new to MK, it's somekind of a Fatality, and it takes the fight to another level, at least, now you really fight until the end!!!
