Raiden and Liu Kang are the two super unlockables, even though a lot of people consider them just regular unlockables. I also consider Shujinko to be a super unlockable as well, since you can't get him right away. Raiden and Liu Kang can be unlocked only after completing Konquest. Raiden is kind of easy to find, but Liu Kang is practically impossible to find on your own. I doubt anyone has managed to find him without looking on the internet or a guide, much less his alternate. His alternate is just impossible to find on your own, you could just be searching forever and never find on your own.

if u learn how to play with raiden u can pretty much be unbeatable. liu kang's combos dont flow to well but i'm glad to see him back. i think there's 2 diff. superunlockables but they'll probly be just as lame as blaze and mokap

the key word is deception people...damn...ne1 thaught that the unsolved shit from deadly allience might play a role in this?...like kenshi's eye and the numbers on it...or "time will lead u to noob saibot"...and a rumor about lius brother chan....and raiden and liu kang arent supers...damn..they were known about long befor the game was released..and the supers were supposed to be super secret...and they aint gonna make it the 2 most known characters in the history of mk..its pointles..they should make a new mk trilogy wit all chars..damn....and all this shit is to gay to make up for nothin...so they gotta mean somthin...why out in all this effort?

Here was Boon's point in the one video interview where the term 'super unlockable' was used.
MKDA had a Krypt with Koffins that you "unclock" using Koins.
In MKD, some of the Krypt's Koffins are the same way, but some of them you cant unlock with Koins, but rather, by finding keys from somewhere in Konquest. It is what's in these Koffins that are "super unlockable".
Not Boon's fault everyone took what he said to mean something he didn't.

there are way too many people caught in this little non-believing state of mind. and just wont shut up about it. it has NOT been proved that there is no SU's. as far as i know, there is in fact SU's. and when i say SU's im talking about playable fighters not on the main grid of 24, more puzzle fighters, and maybe an extra game mode? not koffins unlocked with keys. Boon said it himself in an interview you can see at gamespot.

You are right. But you know as well as I do, that in another interview, he said that there will be more characters than just the 24 on the select screen. It's kind of hard to take that the wrong way and for it to mean something else.
Maybe he had early plans on doing this, but changed his mind. Whatever the reason is, I have been convinced that the 'Super Unlockables' don't exist.
