Havik is an awesome character.

His story and design are definitely the best things about him. There is so much potential evolving around him.

He is kind of unique in special moves and fatalities. I love his chaotic nature and the whole rivalry with the Order realm. I think these 2 realms are some of the best new elements added in the game.

Havik is a decent fighter. Good combos.

Overall, I give him a 9/10.

He is definitely one of my fave new characters. Oh! His ending KICKS major ass .but I hope it doesn’t really happen.

im not sure about the bird thing.. but i also agree on havik being a great new character... i really enjoy his appearance/story as well.. however i would liked to have at least one long combo with him.. i tihnk he and ashrah are my new character favorites

I really don't care what they named him after, he's a funny character to play as.

But anyway, I know that he eats his opponents arms and spits up the bones in one of his fatalites. And as for the other one, I can't remember, cause they're kind of weak, so I never do 'em.

his second fatal he rips your leg off and bats your head to oblivion. he is not named after the bird. he is named after "havoc" but in the mk world- wherever there is a C, one would put a K. but they can't spell his name "havok" bekuz that would be copying off of the leader of X-factor (marvel comix) hence..... "havik" ! and i think he is the best new character. his primary outfit is the shit but his fatals are pretty lame. i hope he returns in mk7

I love Havik, but I wish he was a better offensive character. His defense is really good, but you don't have an array of highly damaging combos to use with him. I love that you can make him snap his head. It's just fun to do. Havik, at least for me, is a fun character to use.

Havik is a damn good character. He is named after a bird, I just forget which language it's in. Love his moves. Love the look. The little comic relief taunts are good. Here's a question for ya: Why did they name a character firefly?

Yeah Havik is a good character much better than Dairou!! I didnt know Havik was a bird so i cant comment. But yeah he is good but not the best.

I really liked havik ,look-wise, better than the other new charactrs.. and out of the Order/Chaos thing... he's the only one worthy of staying...

He is WICKED hard to use... but I still use him cause he is so cool...

best new character. definatly should return. his alt and his moves kick ass even though the low projectile doesn't suit him.

Havik is Dutch for Hawk.

That's not what the MK team intended to name him after.

Just like Onaga is japanese for "azure winged magpie", another type of bird.

Both names may have been inspired by the birds but they have nothing to do with them at all.

Just like Hotaru's "firefly" in japenese.

Havik's one of the awesomest new characters we've seen in a while. His fatalities are sweet and his personaliy is superb. I applaud Midway for Havik.

That Spine snap of his sure wakes up a lotta Scorpion players I fight online though....dodges the spear and I get a boost of health at the same time!

Also, in his second costume, after his "Binge and Purge" fatality, he makes the cool "Jaw Clicking" noise as he poses.

Him and Ashrah hopefully have another go in another MK game. Only Kirah and Kobra should stay IF they found out that they are of the same mother (Sonya) and from different fathers (Kano and Cage). Now that would be an interesting, almost Star Wars-esque spin on things.

I agree. Havik is a great new character for the Mortal Kombat team. (I still perfer Sub-zero though). The only thing that bugs me is say when Im fighting someone...he does his random head twist move and then they smoke me in the face with some amazing combo... I wish you could turn of some moves :)

i don't think it would work out that well if that happened.
