I had been reading a thread that you had closed about the super unlockables and somebody claiming they had found sektor and reptile, and everybody's giving him shit saying there are no SU's
But is anybody really in the position to say they dont exist?...this is probebly the biggest rumor in MK history, and to thos who think it was just some kid who started it, IT WAS BOON WHO STARTED IT, he states it in a gamespot video i had seenbefore the game had been released, so nobody is sure to say they dont exist just because u think they dont.
No disrespect to anybody but none of you know for sure, sure, the kid in that thread was obviously making it up based on the terms of events that had to be completed to earn such a prize.
My Question is, Why wasnt this asked at fight night to close it once and for all and shut everybody up, there are only 3 reasons i can think of that they havent said anything about it:
-they havent heard it, which is HIGHLY unlikely
-they like us trying to hunt them down
OR
-they DO exist
I am not saying they are in the game, but i am not saying they arent in the game, because i am not in such a position where evidence or knowlage reveals a definate "YES" or "NO" in this matter, but who are you CROW to say a definate response "super unlockables do not exist", do u know midway on such a personal basis that BOON shakes your hand every day and tells you secrets?, were YOU the producer of MKD? or CREATIVE DIRECTOR for that matter?....
no disrespect to you but i highly recommend that you consider what your saying if you do not know 100% if it is there or not.
It would be really funny if the SU's do exist and thos few 1 out of 20 people that believe in the SU's are right, they(along with me) are gonna probebly rub it in and all of you have no excuse.
LONG LIVE THE RUMORS, THE DREAMABLE AND THE DREAMERS!
EDIT:here is the exact quote from one of the two interviews with ed boon (top on the list)
"The main grid of characters that you choose from is gonna be 24 but theres gonna be more that that in the game, we really wanted to have alot of stuff hidden in the game thats not even apparent on the main select screen, these modes start out with a small amount of characters and then grow s to the full size as you unlock things in konquest mode and the krypt and all that, we really wanna kinda tease players with else is burried inside the game"
THERE YOU HAVE IT, BOON HIMSELF SAIS MORE THAN 24!!!!!!
now say its 100% wrong

There ARE more than that "in the game". He didn't necessarily say there were playable.
- Onaga
- Noob/Smoke (actually they ARE playable)
- Characters exclusive to Konquest mode like Jax/Spirit Liu/Sonya/etc.
This has been covered before, already.

No.
You know perfectly well what I meant. There are no other playable characters outside the 24 on the grid that can be used without the use of third party devices. Therefore, there is nothing left to "unlock". If you want to argue, then do so with the people who developed the game... as they are the ones who said there was nothing more.
MK:DA was handled similarly. There will be no more "super unlockables" threads outside of stickied topics.
Thread closed.
