It's possible, but we don't know his alignment yet. I'm pretty sure he's good(although not the main protagonist probably).

Now what I've been wondering is if he'll turn into a spectral ghost dragon and an undead rotting skeletal Dragon. The spectral version could incinerate the opponent with a breath fire and the undead version could just bite and shred!

like the idea with the brain but I would hate it if it was Liu Kang's fatality because of it will make him more dead than he should be.

i love those ideas but understand GHOSTS CAN'T TOUCH OR BE TOUCHED so he cant be a ghost.. a zombie i guess but no ghost

Nice idea, TemperaryUserName. That may very well be the case. If not, I'd like to see him summoning skeletal mages of some sort, & having his minions kill the opponent, but that would ruin the idea below.

Liu Kang's alliance will probably appear as unknown, but I think he will remain good.

oh, but ghosts CAN touch... now im sure alto of people dont believe in ghosts, but the dead really do sometimes come back because they are restless or have unfinished work on the mortal plane, and they CAN touch... in my old apartment house my mom was brushing her hair in the bathroom and some bottles of shampoo and conditioner got thrown at her by a ghost [ironic...] and along with the fact that this is MORTAL KOMBAT, they stretch reality to the point to where its almost completely fictional, so im sure you could hit/kill a ghost in it [sorry for goin off topic a minute there, just proving a point in example]

MK is a supernatural setting. They can do whatever they please, as well create their own version of a spirit. If they want ghosts to be able to touch(which most of them can do anyway), then they can do exactly that.

Yes, very much like the Twins in The Matrix Reloaded®. Not all programs and companies have the bar set at the same level & use like limitations for ghosts' attributes.
