Notice they did not bring up online play? Wierd since all the reports I have read have online as the focus (wondering: maybe the game will be balanced?)

I would just like to add that The official playstation 2 magazine shows that Out of the top 15 games of the millenium, which may I add is mostly series affiliated, MK didnt get mentioned. Furthermore, here were some of the their top games: Zelda series, which was #1, Final fantasy series, which was #5, and I believe the mario series was in there too, along with dance fever karaoki, which was #15. All Im saying is too bad mk wanst in there.
