Hotaru and Ashrah puzzle characters?

Sorry if this is old news but notice when you play puzzle kombat the loading screen for after u choose your player, features Ashrah against XXX and Hotaru against XXX. They are in puzzle kombat form (small). Why would that be shown if they arnt playable? If you dont believe me check out the loading screens everytime you play.
P.S XXX - i cant remember who they were versing.

Yeah, there are other characters in loading screens, but that's just because they rendered each character before they finally decided on how many and which characters would end up being in the final version. Hope that helps!
