Lets say your opponent was blocking alot of your blows and he also kept dodging them. The fighter that can't get any hits off the opponent will start to deliver weaker hits if he or she eventually attacks. Also the fighter would also move slightly slower if he constantly misses. If the opponent however keeps dodging the attacks their blows get strong slightly and they move a little quicker.

The attacking should get more tired, and the defending oppoent should have their link slightly weakened if they were attcaked in the same area. when they go to attack they won't do so much damage unless they counter attacked straight away. And the attacking oppoenent should eventually get slower due to tiredness if he constantly misses or even if he does successfully get hits in.
