I don't mind really either way, but why would it suck? I mean, did it suck when Shang Tsung became playable? No, people love him. This MK thing is getting much more complicated with each new incarnation when it comes to the fighting system, so why not make different character sizes?

I realize that Jax is bigger than Sonya, but why not take a more SOul Calibur approach to it? I don't want MK to become Soul Calibur, but I do think character size should maybe have more of a bearing on speed and power.

An example is perhaps Shao Kahn would move a bit like Nightmare from Soul Calibur. I don't think there should be as many variations as Soul Calibur either. Nobody the size of Astaroth should even be playable, I just don't think it's MKs style (I'm picturing Astaroth as larger than Goro or Kintauro here, just so you know how I'm measuring).

Either way, none of that needs to happen, but bottom line is Shang Tsung made an excellent transition from boss to playabe, I think Shao Khan could as well, he's obviously out for revenge.

i do think they should do something with him and Dragon King as rivals.

If he wernt already dead it would be sorta 'neato' to see him as a watered down playable character-of course he'd have to have a bit of a makeover but it'd still be him nonetheless.

Well I don't remember if it was actually confirmed that he was dead.... but even if he was, Johnny Cage still hangs around doesn't he?

Shao Kahn is not confirmed dead or alive and in Reptile conquest he found Kahn's body. But Can Reptile tell if he was alive or dead?

Shao Kahn is best left in trilogy. i dont think he;s good enough for 3D. the only boss from the past worth even considering is Kintaro, i always felt he was a better shokan than Goro.

I think that a toned down Shao Kahn could be really cool. Give him a couple of his original moves and some very cool powerful fighting styles. I think that doing this would be just like making Shang Tsung a normal character. They've done it and it worked. Give him a Muay Thai fighting style (one FAR SUPERIOR to Jax's crap style), another strong fighting style, and give him a mace. I think he would look good with a mace or a morning star. Something sharp meant for cracking skulls.

How about the sword he had in mk conquest, if you saw it. that would be a good weapon for him

shao kahn is not lame at all. he is still the man. And I rather have him as a hidden character in the future.

Pankration and a wicked style of Sanshou with a overkill chin na overtone should be Shao Kahn's hand to hand combat.

MkC Kahn's sword or Mk3 Kahn's mallet should be the weapon style.

In MK6 Dragon King and Shao Khan should be the bosses.
