Well.... I like him... he is like the comic relief of the game!

I just hope they get rid of those highlights.... his hair looked like butter toffee.... and his Nunchaku moves should be a little more fluent...

I think Johnny Cage is one of the crappiest characters in MK. I hate his story and to me , he doesn't fit in MK. Fighting as him is fun though. If they bring him back in MK:D , I wouldn't mind ; the more the merrier. But if they can only get a certain # of characters in the game , he shouldn't be a priority.

Johnny Cage is an awesome character but I think he will get killed in the opening video of MK:D.

Yes, Scorpion like Cage has lost all originality in his story, it has been the same since Mk1, to “avenge his family” and “murder the murderer” Really boring, and unlike Cage, he has died more then 3 times!

I think Cage should return in MKD, but with a totally improved story. He has lots of potential, he is a classic, Mk needs him.

I don't care about Johnny Cage. If he's in MK6 or not in MK6...I won't lose sleep either way.

He was killed by Sub-Zero before MK and he MIGHT have died in MK:DA. What other time was there?

If something different does not happen with Cage in this next game I'm going to officially hate him, but I think if they bring him back they will actually do something different and interesting with him.

Killed by Quan Chi in MKDA, when he was thrown into the Acid pit.

Also in MkU/Trilogy, it says he once again escaped hell when Shao Kahn’s portals opened, so how did he get there? I’m sure he didn’t just go for fun after Mk2.

In the comic books (even though they might not count for some, but it is still Mk), he was killed AGAIN by Sub-Zero when he wanted his revenge, but strangely, he managed to return from the dead (again) to finish him.

And he MIGHT had died in the END of MKDA.

The point is, his story really needs a change.

Johnny Cage is the token white guy in the game... I never have liked him (I really hated him in the movie). I have no problem with him being in the game, as long at the end of the game (each chapter of the story) he is killed. They can keep bringing him back every game, as long as at the end, he's killed again...

Yeah, I had also noticed that about MKDA, I tried to explain it many times but people never understood.

I feel the same way about him as I do about Ermac,Rain and Noob Saibot. All great characters, but could have been awesome if the MK team did so much more with them.

I agree with a lot of the Pro-jc people on this forum. I like Cage as a character but his story needs to be improved.
Also, he's only died once. He died at the begining of MKT but since he died while Earth and Outworld were murjing he didn't acteally die until the end. Then in the begining of MK4 he was brought back, reserected, whatever by Raiden. The reason I think he couldn't do the same thing to Liu Kang was that Shang Tsung had taken his soul.

He needs to do something a bit different in this storyline, but I want to see Johnny Cage back in MKD. Liu Kang was his friend, so why not have Cage do more to try and avenge Liu's death.

Someone said he's the "token white guy" in MK? How's that, there are other white characters, for example Kano and Mavado.

Johnny is a good comic relief, the rest of my family hates Johhy Cage. I like the fact that Johnny Cage uses the style of Jeet Kun Do

I remember this. But it's inconsistent with Scorpion's Konquest which makes no reference to this and, not entirely sure, Shang Tsung's Konquest. And what kind of sense does that make anyway? Scorpion escapes the Netherealm only to die and escape again in the same game with no mention of it happening?

Quan Chi and Shinnok allow Scorpion out of the Netherealm to kill Sub-Zero, no more no less. Once he does his business they bring him back down to the Netherealm. He chose not to so they took him back. Why would they allow Scorpion to just hang around on Earth; it is Hell after all.

It's still MK? So you count the movies and the TV shows and the cartoons too? The comics are too inconsistent.
