Are you serious? MK team really screwed people up in 04 with the whole "super unlockable" crap, sadly, some people are STILL affected by it, an america tragedy.

Maybe he'll be available as DLC. But for now he is really an unplayable character, who exists in the cinematic sequences only!

Obviously, the above rambling is pure bullshit, which is no different from the concept of "Super Unlockables." There never were any in the previous games, and there aren't any in this one.
Unless they do create DLC, you will not be playing as Quan Chi anytime soon.
