I know you guys wouldn't know exactly how long they have been working on it. But, do you think they have been working on Deceptions a lot longer than Deadly Alliances? I mean, the game already has a darker feel to it... which is a lot better.

Also, when these pics and trailers were put together, how long into the development process were they in?

Sorry for the questions, I just wanna know how much better the game can get, and how much better it can LOOK.

ps: Anybody else kinda upset with the tone of Deadly Alliance when compared to earlier titles of the series? I mean, the colors were too bright, and it almost looked too cartoonish.

Peace

Thats because DA'fighting engine had to be totally from scratch. deception is still being the same, except way more improved, faster, and more. Deception isnt starting from the beginning like DA did.

Well, I heard they started working on it once MKDA was done. Just heard it...

Since this month? Lol. I don't think it's been in development for a month.

Deception has been in progress ever since DA was finished. As a matter a fact, they were already coming up with characters for deception even in the process of making DA.

So i'd say ed and them are pretty much working hard on this.

I personally thought that MK:DA looked very dark.

And i'm intrigued about the new Krypt, I would have thought that they put everything they had in MK:DA.

It looks over half done if you ask me.
Also it would have to be for a Fall 04 release.

I think they have been working on Mk:d since they found out that Mk:da was a success. Thats about a year and a half so. I bet the game is like 75% finish or around there

I just hope it's a darker game than MKDA. I didn't like the outside environments as much as I should have, because the game was too cartoonish like the Soul Calibur games... I liked the game, but maybe make it a bit more darker, and with more of a MK2 look, but in 3D.

I just hope Ed wasn't playing when he said his team is doing much better on MKD than what they did with MKDA.
