How is the DK "long forgotten"?

I mean, every MK game had the logo of a dragon. Ever since the first one! Sort of weird for the DK to be forgotten when every MK has been depicted with a dragon... and does this mean MK will end soon? Since the logo finally shows it's origin?
Where the hell did you get the idea that Onaga is is dragon in the MK logo?

yeah seriously, i mean its just a logo. It doesnt even look like him, and the game has been based with a dragon like essense (liu kang) since before the DK was even thought up.

What they mean by long forgotten, is in the storyline. Its been thousands of years since the DK ruled last. Shao Kahn ruled most of the realms for several millenia, and I doubt think that he wrested control from Onaga. He is long forgotten in the regard that its been ages since he last walked.

It has nothing to do with the logo.
