One of the biggest things I hated about MK:DA was its lame one throw per chracter outside of Hsu Hao, and my question is "has this been fixed for Deception". IMO every chracter should have at least 3-4 different types of throws per character per style.

well i notice that Li Mei has two. (but im not sure)

one, where we saw the stage with the statue fall on her for the first time. i saw Li Mei threw Tanya over her with her leg (its really fast though) and....

two, she jumped over her opponent and kick her opponents back.

I think it's been varified that mutliple throws exist for each character. If someone could clarify, that would be great.

Don't know what the notations are, really don't care, either. However, does scorps throw...juggle...? grin

To anyone who cares, I'm not banned. I left of my own accord. This place is dead to me now.

I just watched the Scorpion vs. Darrius vid again and it looks like Darrius is knocked too far away and not bounced high enough. But maybe he could be hit again in midair...

I wish more throws in the newer MK games had special properties, like how Drahmin's throw bounced the opponent in MKDA and Nitara's recovered health. Otherwise, besides punishing defensive players (which didn't happen in MKDA), what is the purpose of throwing?

As for multiple throws in MKD (outside of grapple-based stances like Judo and Aikido), I doubt it. Libra, I saw the same thing, but I also saw Shujinko using that same monkey flip throw. I think that was just a filler given to several characters, but I could be wrong. I certainly hope there are multiple throws.

Yeah, the throw system, and animation especially, looks to be improved a lot. There's even a question now as to whether throws can be broken or not. In the new Kobra vs. Scorpion video it shows that the combo breakers can be used to break throws but it seems problematic since in the video, Kobra already took the throw damage before the break. What's more interesting is something Saty noticed at 1:34 where it looks like Scorpion tried to throw after the hellfire but was escaped.
