How long will you train before you play against others online? As with MK: DA it took me a month plus to figure out the toughest AI of all MK games(to me), and with humans being far better than any AI in a game you have to ready for anything and know everything that your charerter can do and the person's charerter you are fighting against. A 56k user like myself may not be able to play against others on MK6 online, but if it were possible I would train for about 2 months before I would go online to prove myslef to be the best there is ,the best there was , and the best there ever will be(
Your thoughts please
thanks for your time :.l

I suppose that depends on how the game turns out, doesn't it.

well if mkda id any indication, its gonna take months to train and perfect it as best as possible to youre abilities.

However one major disadvantage is that if you play online instantly, youre gonna wind up having loosing records, because youre still "figuring it out"

Unfortunatly if you all take months to "train" before playing, you will miss out on alot of the comp. As in every Mk that has ever come out, it will be hot for about a month or two, then will begin to fade away. Dont get me wrong, I still play every MK daily with people online and friends. But when people begin to become dissappointed in MK6, the quantity of players will decrease.

Besides, I would advise playing people ASAP. Other people are bound to figure things out before you do, so what better way to improve your game than to be playing other people. Playing MK AI and being able to beat it is nothing to brag about as it will never prepare you for gameplay with a skilled player. Any MK AI to date has always had a loophole, or it was too restricted in movement. Ive never played the AI in DA and had it BDC on me or give me a good mixup game. It only went for Throws/Reversals/and Full Branch. All easily outplayed by a skilled player. As for Practice mode (as far as DA goes)... IMO, what a waste of time considering the fact that you will never know exactly what is guaranteed and what isnt (example everyone in DA has a 100%+ in practice, but try pulling it off in real play).

My response is not a flame nor does it have any intention to discredit any of you. I just feel alot of you are going to be holding yourself back as to learning how to truely compete in MK6 if you wait to long to go online. Learn with the rest of us and share the knowledge. 1000 heads are better than 1.

well in response to reptiles tyle, there hasnt been a fighting online game, and this has the potential to get extremely adictive. Practice makes perfect. If you practice enough, you will get so much more better in online play, and thats probably more do to qunquest.

Yes, most definetly. A day or so before I get MK6 I will be sure to get in contact with someone and and set a time up. Screw "training" against a stupid computer.

He he BT.. sweet. I celebrate everyday as well, but usuall more towards the end. I'll be celebrating soon when my boyz finally get here.

I know I might keep like 1 or 2 days to myself to practice, but what the fuck.. waiting a few months. YOu guys are crazy. There will be two types of MK6's. Playing at home with your friends, and playing online with some lag. I dont care how good ur connection is, there will be lag and it WILL take time to adjust to. For all of you guys that need to see your name on a ranking list.. i feel sorry for you. Just because you might be ranked #1, we will all know why, cuz you chose the pussy way out and only played when you knew it would win. I fear a ranking system for MK6. For any former Xbanders, you might no why. For those who dont, let me explain. There will always be that one mutherfucker who cares more about rank than anything else and he will terminate their connection before your win registered. It happend all the time back in the day on Xband because of their ranking system. NObody wanted the loses. Time will tell, but i guarentee it will happen.

x-box is not dial up, no way.
ps2 could be.
But in response to versatile and blade tsung, I also said screw it im getting to the top spot,
but if you think about it, even a late starter with a 4-0 win record will have a better record against a 15-4, and if nba live 2004 taught me anything is that.

Dude, nobody will play me in fighting games anymore. All me an my people play together really is Madden and Need for Speed Underground. Manhunt, but it's not really 2p. Anyways, I used to kill everyone in fighting games, they honestly all hate fighting games now. I swear I had so many people pissed at me when Ready 2 Rumble came out..
