I'm not worried about how much memory its gonna take since I got the new memory card they released. I thinks its called the 1019. I've took all my old memory cards and combined them onto this one card and I still have plenty of room to save games.

i think he is talking about actual data space on the gc disc. and even tho the discs can only hold 1.5gb compared to a dvd's 4.7gb (minus using dual layer technology) they could probably fit all of the mkd data because there's some compression technology used to store the data on said disc. so i think its safe to say that midway is using the little room they have left, cuz im sure it is a small portion considering all of what mkd has on it, is gonna be used for an extra stage or something. but who knows, we'll just have to wait and see.

actuallly i was talking about the memory cards ..
just cos i have all but run out of space to put stuff on and iff i buy a 59 block card the game turns out to be something as big as 65+ blocks then im going to have wasted money on a 59 block mem when i should have brought a 150+ block memory card ...

Why wouldn't you get the bigger memory card? I have two MC 59s (one dedicated to Animal Crossing and one to F-Zero GX) and one MC 251, I have almost 20 games and I've still got some room on my 251. If I need to buy a new memory card I'll get the MC 1019, even more space. There is no need to buy under 251.

I was very surprised by the fact that MK:DA only used 1 memory slot.

Well, when you think about it, there's very little to consider in a fighting game. The only thing the computer has to keep track of is:

- Player profiles
- Unlocked characters/secrets
- Koins
- Win Records
- Konquest time/location
- Shujinko's moves (when finished Konquest)

That doesn't end up being a lot of actual data. Most of it is simply in-game database toggles.

It is the Memory Card 1019, it has 1019 blocks for storage just like the MC 59 has 59 and the MC 251 has 251. It probably cost more than the other two, check out a retailer.
