How to get in the White Lotus and a question about tracking your training

I think I'm stuck. I have beaten Konquest the first time through, unlocked all of the characters and boards and have beaten the game with two different fighters. I am lost though on how I am supposed to join the White Lotus. I go to the large temple (with the cauldron outside -- not the one where Liu Kang is) and no one is there. Shen and Wen are no longer at the tall skinny temple and the hut just across the bridge.
Does anyone know where they are? I am assuming they are who I am supposed to get the headband from.
Also, I believe I have trained with every fighter in the game (which I am assuming is also a prereq to finding Kung Lao -- along with being in the White Lotus). Is there any way to check exactly who you have trained with (or is it a matter of going back to everyone and seeing if it asks if you need more training or to repeat the training.)

Yeah, how do you get into the white lotus society? These two guards keep saying that I can't enter.

which guards are you talking about? If you are talking about the guards who wont let train with Liu Kang, I am past that. I am talking about the place that is accessable only be three bridges (one in front, one on each side).
anyone know how to get this head band?

your in the same boat as me...you have to get the headband earlier in the game and those two are dead now...but unless it leads to a superunlockable in the future im not gonna worry about it...konquest takes too long to do that without a good reward.

I remember joining the white lotus after Nightwolf purified my soul when going back to the earthrealm....but you have to go talk to wen after that and he says something about Lui Kang being the choosen one.

Someone posted in another thread that you don't have too get the headband from those two guys. That you can just go back to nightwolf and re-purifiy yourself and then you walk around looking to a normal guy that is just standing in one spot. He will then give you the handband. I have re-purified myself but I can't find the guy i'm supossed to talk to? Anyone know if this is true and if so, where is this guy?
I'm done with the Konquest and already trained with everyone.

Im gonna try that when I get home (the Nighwolf thing) -- this is supposed to be when Nightwolf is by the tree and you train with him?
I heard about the random guy at a hut... he gives you the headband. I really hope that works because it would totally stink if you have to start all over because you missed one thing (especially when it wasnt made clear in the first place!)

You have to talk to Shen, and he'll refer you to Wen. He'll say something about Outworld invaders. Then head towards the Earthrealm portal, you should see 3 Tarkatan warriors. I think you hafta fight one, and then they'll run away. Go back and talk to Wen and he'll give you the White Lotus headband. But you can't actually make it into the White Lotus deal until after you beat Konquest once. There, you'll find Liu Kang, and you'll be able to train with him. The other building is unaccessible. Hope that helps.
*Note* I did most of this AFTER the tournament and it all worked for me.

Sorry if I am not catching on but I never spoke with Wen and Shen beyond the first time when they told me to come back when I was a great warrior or something (now that I have beaten Konquest and already trained with Liu Kang) they are not were they were (I assume they are dead)? I hope this Nightwolf re-purification deal works out (I guess I will need to do his training again???)
Its very frustrating :(

I redid the Nightwolf training (him repurifying you) and I still cant find zilch.
Im not taking much comfort in what Midway said either (the sticky thread) because the question that was asked was specifically about the village and the headband isnt in the village.

Im so frustrated! Now Im hearing that the head band is crucial to finding Sindels Ring.

Im thinking about calling Midway and asking... this is crazy.
