You know how shooters online for ps2 have like 16 players max in a room, 8vs8. Well for Mortal Kombat 6, will it be like..rooms that an hold 8 or so that can battle each other for as long as they want? I really need some clarification here, its different for a fighter to be online.

It seams logical for me to assume that it would work like an online - pc - waiting list for quake or UT. For instance, you just log onto a server and are in a que list with other players. I don't see why you'd want to do it any other way. I mean, it's how things work at the arcade and what not; you slip you quarter on the cab and wait your turn.

Though, I'm not sure what the the decision would be as far as player cycle: winner stays or both get booted back in line no matter who wins. I'd like the see winner stays, but that's me.

I don't know much about PS2 online delios' - does some quick research...

k, from what i've read it seams pretty open ended. which leads me to believe that the game company can set up their servers any way they wish. they can also choose to charge a fee or not.

When all is said and done, i expect midway to charge a fee, have multiple servers runing - becuase 2000 peeps on one server isn't cool, you know. Different servers may have different setting, too. For instance, one server may allow winner to stay, while another boots both players an continues it's cycle. I don't know if things such as blood, round settings, and what not will be client side or server side. But, whatever. This is all theoretical anyway.

i would like to see it set up like war craft 3, it has a great online system, where u can do quickc play or a "ranked match", chat with other ppl on a server, or do a custom game which you would be able to use your custom character maybe:)
