I can envision a DC Universe game if Warners buy Midway

For that fact they could release an MK game much like armgeddon, with heap of characters and create your own using this engine..............
I reckon we will see another MK game or fight game release using this engine before we see a fresh MK game. Purely for the fact midway is bankrupt and thus who ever buys it will want to quickly make some cash to cover their investment . So financially it would be quicker, cheaper and more cost effifenct to release a new game using old tech than to create an entirely new engine....
Still if they do it, lets hope it is not half assed, ie. has a heap of content, plently of characters and stages...........
MK vs DC just felt a little empty............

i dont hate it........ it just fills empty...........and I have only had it a week..... there was nothing, ummmm, new.... the DC was a nice addition but still felt the same and like it was lacking....
I love MK Vs DC but I do agree that it feels empty,
i think it maybe cos we were used to all the unlockables in the krypt or playing side games (puzzle kombat, chess kombat, motor kombat)
anyways, they will probs do a DC game which i wouldn't mind really as long as it didnt halt the next MK game.

There was nothing new? There was nothing new? Buddy, there were a lot of things that were added to this game that were new.
Gran it you only have had the game for a week, but still... there are a lot of things new in this game that were brought into the MK series. Maybe you have to look harder or play more?

It's not that, even those games felt empty compared to older games. I remember fighting games (Tekken 3) back on the PSone that had about 5 times more content than MKvDC.
It's not the fact we are used to having more, it's the fact that games from 2 generations ago had more content, yet had a lot less memory space.
The problem is these days is that most of that memory is used for visuals and cosmetics - but underneath the make-up it's still an empty game.

If Warner Bros. bought MK, that would not be good. They would probably think of some cross over where some how motherf***in Daffy Duck beats the living turd out of Raiden. WTF!??

WB = Snowblind Studios
Snowblind Studios = Justice League Heroes
Probablity of a pure DC Universe game:
Snowblind Studios >>> Midway Games.

Isn't Midway just a publisher? Like Team MK makes the games and Midway has the resources to get the games packaged and distributed to stores.

I agree, it's very empty.
The dark qualities MK usually has were left out. It didn't feel like an MK game. Yes, the graphics were great and I adore Sonya (now that she doesn't look like a dude), but the music, enviroment, and auras were all leveled down to an area MK should've never been in.
I hope MK9 comes back hard.
