Sorry if this has been poster already.
But, A clue to a possible unlockable feature (note- I didn't say SUPER unlockable) lies within a picture of a Midway staff member. If you go into the Krypt and purchase the picture of Jim Terdina (I think that's right, don't know the correct spelling or which coffin he is in.) Behind his right shoulder (left side of the screen) you can clearly see puzzle fighters fighting in the Chamber of Artifacts arena.
Once again, Sorry if this has already been posted. Thanks KingKabal for the level correction.

The beetle lair arena already is in puzzle kombat.

No, No LOOK at the picture. It has health bars and fighting styles..it isnt the beetle lair arena in puzzle..its the actualy fighting version of the arena.

I'm curious if this is just a development thing or if it's actually implemented in the game. It would make sense considering a lot of other characters have "secret" puzzle models...

Yeah I noticed that too. I checked all the staff pics, and I saw 3 things...
1) the mini figthers actually fighting (Jim Perdina photo)
yeah could just be the method used to make them fighting in puzzle mode
2)kintaro render (Ryan Rosenberg photo)
I was hyped about this one (high details) but I soon realised it was the one we see in one of outworld loading screen... crap
3) Dragon King story board
this one actually let me think they made an ending for Onaga (as all story board are actually the chars ending). Why would he need an ending if he's not playable??
