I don't think Liu Kang is playable

Why would the creators of MK put basically two fighters that were based on the same character in this game? Liu kang will be in the game but not playable he will be a huge part of the story, just like in MK:DA.

Well if they're putting Mileena and Li Mei in the same game, then I wouldn't put it past them to put 2 more exact same chracters in. The only difference is that with Mileena and Li Mei, Li Mei is a Mileena rip off. Liu Kang's ghost and zombie are just different forms of the same character...god that still sounds so friggin lame.
I'm not pleased with his return dammit!

It just does not make any sense, Liu kang is one of the main fighers in MK. Why would they bring him back as a ghost and a zombie? If he was coming back as a fighter they would of resurected him like they did with, Baraka, Kabal etc. He just going to be included in the sorty like he was last time.

i sill have not seen lie mei confirmed. plenty of mags came out witht he game's makers confirming characters. i never saw lie mei. i like the idea of the zombie liu but the ghost seems dumb

The bottom line is it would be pointless to bring back a legend such as Liu Kang as a zombie and a ghost. If he comes back at all it should be in his true form. Im not saying i wont play as him, but they must be hurting on ideas if they bring back two characters based on one.

I say they should have just gone with the zombie liu kang and make him evil. It may be too confusing if you have 2 guys in one....2 endings....etc.

Seriously, your just guessing if he is or is not playable in the game. This information is not known to anyone else yet outside of Midway, including you.

Hey its all speculation as far as im concerned. We will just have to wait and see come october. And no i havent played the game yet, and i dont have an inside source at midway. Bottom line i know as much as you do about MK:D nothing......

simpletons...liu kang's zombie/ghost forms are not 2 seperate fighters. you can pick his ghost or zombie form simply as you would pick an outfit. scorpion is a good example; his default is his human form, his alt is his spectre form.

There hasnt been 24 confirmed characters yet, where are you guys getting all this info? is it speculation of fact cause it sounds wack to me.

New Shokan,Chimera,Sareena and Kobra are false rumors, number 24 Is your Kustom Kharacter.

The only characters I would take as konfirmed are the ones we see in screenshots, which makes about 6.

Actually, it's known to more than you think. I've known about Lui Kang for since early March, but I'm not one to go shooting off unreleased info. Whether you want to believe them or not is up to you.

But guys, there is only one Lui Kang in this game. As Humulis said, there referring to his costumes. Ghost being one, Zombie being the other. And yeah, he's playable.

And nobody can see Reptile in that list... Li Mei has been confirmed in these forums by which it has credibility, and still has to arrive the hour that somebody with similar credibility denies it... 17 days people, 17 days to see the truth.
