Boon has already admitted that he might deceive us in the PSM mag. My suggestion is as follows, WE DON'T BELIEVE WHAT MAGS OR ANYONE SAYS ABOUT THE CHARACTERS OF MK6?!
The only way we believe a character is gonna make a return in MK6 is if we see the character in action or we see a 3D render of the character. Why should we do this? Simple. To avoid confusion and contempt for Midway. I'm already super pissed off that Quan Chi (he is RELEVANT to say the least) isn't a confirmed character so far.
This German Mag drama and Midway calling some of their information bogus is so confusing and unfair to us the fans who are religiously waiting for an update.

I think he is telling the truth about the characters who are returning...I just don't think that's it...There has to be more DA and more Classics like Quan Chi and Sektor and Mavado and people like that. Unless Quan Chi dies in the intro, I can't see him not being in MK:D. He must be in it somehow. He is a MAJOR part of the storyline.
That's what I've been saying about Kabal all along. When have we seen an image of Kabal? What about an official statement saying "Yes. Kabal will be in the game."?
I think people are jumping at the mention of things. I don't think Midway would give away too much about their game at this stage. What shocked me most wwas the announcement of 24 characters. Now we have a guide to pick what characters are going to be in.
That's why I'm expected more like 28 characters, with maybe 7 or 8 new characters.
