I have ideas for better realism...

So when he does that and keeps slamming them repeatedly should the spot where the person is being slammed start to crumble and chipping away and eventually he breaks through and Ermac jumps through the hole and they start up the battle again.
Also should there be a better appearence instead of just appearing and 2 seconds later the guy says FIGHT! Maybe they can jump in from the top of the stage like a ledge if their is one or appear thru stage doors.
Also take Jade for example she is in the cell right? After you unlock her and she is still in the cell this could be her entrance for the prison stage. They show her saying "When will they let me out I want to fight" and then her opponent comes and she says "finally" and the cell opens and she walks casually to her opponent. Then the fight starts.
I think they should also bring back like that little guy from MKDA that spits out acid when you get close and I also saw someone being kicked into a pool of lava so that is good.
Anyone like it?

Camer could start round zoomed in close to characters heads, they taunt, then camers zoom back to wide shot...
By ps3 and xbox2 graphics potential should have the mk characters looking like they do in the prerendered sequences.
Better animation would help no sudden stops in movement ,characters should incorporate beathing movement and inertia.
More varied lighting techniques not always these tracking spot lights. For example I want a moonlit night fight moody to the max lit only by the moon and occasional lighting storm (clouds not blocking out the moon though!).
More animated facial thisthingisdisableds with realist skin textures
one of the wow factors of mk1 was that they looked real because of the rotoscoping...so make the characters look as real as possible and less cartoony.
MKD has brought the MK feel back on track, although some of the female characters are a bit repetitive in their dominatrix style outfits.Enough with the long thigh boots and swimsuits already!
Liked to have seen a traditional Kunoichi character complete with nekote!
Oh and I want to hear footsteps!

I think that Mortal Kombat should stay a fighting game and NOT become cinematic like Soul Calibur 2 (which is exactly what your ideas sound like), so I don't like your ideas. Sorry.

I like your ideas, as I have always wanted MK to be more realistic (in terms of features, not story!) I especialy like the one of Ermac slamming an opponent many times, causing the floor to give way.
To add to your ideas, I would like to see missed projectiles damage the arenas. For example, in the Acid Bath of MKDA: If Sub Zero's freeze missed the opponent and kept on going, it could hit one of the acid buddah's and break the glass, leaving a pool of acid on the floor (which could then be a hazard area.) Or if a fireball missed and continued, hitting and breaking/damaging whatever was hit. If these things aren't addressed for Deception, I hope they will be by MK7 or 8.
And I've mentioned many times how I'd like to see wounded fighters (broken arms, legs etc) after they lose alot of health. And as you said, in a future MK an explantion as to how the fighters arrived at the arena needs to be shown imo

Ok 1. i didnt mean to make it sound like something in Soul Calibur and it actually doesnt. they don't slam people through floors or any of that all they do is have a fast pace battle with all these energy attack
2. thanks krsx that is another thing i want to change. When Sub-Zero did he freeze and missed it just kept going i think it should damage or freeze apart of the arena instead (I know hard task/so many frames). And I'd also like damaged arms
It's good to know SOMEONE has the same views as me thanks...All i wanted to do is add some realism to it and some dialogue... Noktis my idea wasn't that cinematic only the jumping in from the ledge....soo if you want the game to stay non realistic and no talking let it stay boring to you

Considering Soul Calibur 2 was the best fighting game of last year (better than Tekken 4, VF: Evo and MK:DA) I won't complain if these sort of ideas came to life.

Good ideas! That level of realism will be difficult to implement, but it would be nice to see. There's so much detail that would be needed to make the most complete fighting game realistic.

I never Said Soul Calibur 2 wasn't a good game, it's a great game but I don't really like the ideas of Jade talking to herself before the match.. it kind of kills it for me, especially with the fact that many, if not all fighting games with voice acting turn out horrid with the speaking. And walking CASUALLY to your opponent that you're getting ready to fight to the death...Probably not. Besides, adding extra crap before matches gets SUPER old after watching it about 4 or 5 times you're just going to press start and skip over it every time after that anyways. As far as Soul Calibur 2 the voice acting was the worst thing about the whole game and I don't ever want to see it in a MK game. People from Edenia shouldn't know English anyways. So if you want Mortal Kombat to turn into Soul Calibur 2 that's just great, but I'd be finding a new game to play....

I liked the idea of voice acting, the voice actors weren't the best but it added a bit of individuality to the characters rather than Deadly Alliance's chracters having the same 2 or 3 voice actors for grunting
