this weapon was looking kick ass, it was really original and innovative. I hope that if QC make the cut for the game, he will have this weapon.

Well there's Scorpion's living weapon from the MK movie's(which i'd like to see scorpion have in mk6). Then there's the living sword from the "Soul Edge/Soul Calibur" series. So his living-staff was not innovative, And the only thing original about it was that it was the first living staff that i know of. But in the sketches, It did really suite his character

Besides, Those twin Scimitars of his made him incredibly powerful during gameplay! I personally think his weapon fighting style was better then either of his hand-to-hand styles, But that's just my opinion...I could be wrong

Well obviously others will think otherwise, but I do agree with that.

Quan Chi having that living weapon would be nice...too bad it was scrapped. Looked like it had an interesting storyline in itself.

Quan Chi's living weapon would be ill, and more than likely unfair....

If I remember correctly, they were going to have the living weapon as Chi's weapon, but Boon and co. decided to make the living weapon into a character. And thus moloch was born.

an interesting storyline could be that Quan Chi will kill Drahmin and will use his head as a weapon, or something like that...

Not to be rude but I must say that I've noticed that you're basically opposed to all MK characters, so why exactly are you on a site for MK fans? If I'm wrong could you atleast state what characters you like/dislike and why, because by the looks of it you'd rather have an MK game with all new characters that no one gives a rats ass about.

Drahmin is a demon so in theory he is immortal. So if Quan Chi cut his head it means that the head of Drahmin will continue to live and maybe that with sorcery and the fact that Drahmin have special powers, the staff could become a dangerous weapon.

I didn't like the idea of the living weapon and I definately don't want to see it come back. I'm glad that Drahmin was created in its place and I hope that the weapon is never used in future MK games... Unless it has a really good reason to be there storywise.

I did like it!!! it was very MK2...
It was better than having him use the same weapon as kung lao only that have 2 of them...

Plus ,it is innovative in the sense that is not only alive, but human-looking, and had "living" powers (Bugs, etc), unlike Soul Edge that plays like any other sword
