I know it might be okd news but I went to a website named nintendonow.com and I found a link that said Tidbits from Midway and it gave some news that MK6 will be out in 2004.

Please read the following.

Midway gives gamers a sneak peak at what to expect in the months to come, we've assembled all the GCN/GBA information for your viewing pleasure.

Midway held a conference yesterday and answered a few questions about their 2003 lineup. They did not mention any poor Gamecube sales and still plan on supporting it throughout the year. All the questions were answered by Midway's CEO, Nick Nicastro.

Question: When can we expect another Mortal Kombat?

Mr. Nicastro: There's going to be another sequel in calendar year 2004, not this year. It's going to be a very substantive jump from MK5 (Deadly Alliance). So if people enjoyed MK5, they're really going to love MK6. The development team are doing some very unusual things and it's going to be a massive game for us - not this year, but next year.

Question: How many GameBoy Advance titles this year?

Mr. Nicastro: Eight

Question: Are most of your new games going to be multi-platform then?

Mr. Nicastro: For most titles our plan is to support the three main platforms: Xbox, GameCube, and PlayStation 2.
