i am i long time mortal kombat fan. i 've been practing the game since 1992 when i was four years old. i've never been disappointed by a game, nor am i here but it seems to me that the only reason tournament addition is coming out is because they didn't put all the characters in deadly alliance. it's basically an exspantion to DA. this is, to me, a feeble attempt to aquire more money off a good idea. i'll still go out and buy the game and i'll love every minute of it. but it'll be alawys known to me that it's merely a comercial stunt. like mortal kombat gold.

okay now. go ahead and yell at me...

some see it as that, but I see it as this: If it were an expansion... it would have all the MKDA/GBA characters. but it doesn't. So that means theres still a reason to play MKDA/GBA.

also... the company may have realized that they could have worked on the game even further, and decided to add new things.

Midway didn't think that the GBA was such a kool business, they were focused on PS2, GC and XBox, and after they released MKDA for GBA they noticed that the pocket platform has many fans and people with money that want to spend it on kooler games, so, the MK Team is doing MK:TE as an 'expansion' just to get more money, they discovered a new world to sell games and win money, a big world such as the PS2, blah blah.

So, my point is: they're smart, but they didn't think that they were gonna sell so many games.

Is this just an expansion yes, but guess what? its a good one, we get the entire MKDA cast in 2 GBA games( minus mokap and torch) BUT we get Noob ,Sareena and sector. pretty even trade I say.
