For the longest time, i have had trouble unlocking both shao kahn and darkseid. One day Shao Kahn decided to unlock and he seems to unlock anytime i want to.

But i was never able to get Darkseid unlocked. I tried everything... Deleting save data, game data, running thru story mode 100 times. Nothing would work.

As i sat here and pondered what else i could do. I picked up the second players controller and operated the menu using that. I went back to story mode, selected dc universe ( since it was already completed, it just skips straight to the ending ) skipped the credits, went into practice mode and there he was.

The secret to doing it is using Player 2's controller. DO NOT RUN THROUGH STORY MODE AGAIN. It does nothing, all you have to do is use player 2's controller and do everything i just said and you will unlock darkseid. and hopefully kahn as well if youre having problems with him.

P2 Glitch FTW.

For anyone that doesnt know, P2 is programmed differently then P1, which allows different recoveries, combo possibilitys, character movement, among other things. This prevents the game from ever being played in tournaments due to the imbalance on both sides. Which also carries over to online play as well.

But.. Just one more question, after i've done that shit with the P2 controller... Can i then start using him when ever i want also with the P1 controller while doing multiplayer fights?...

lol, also, two off topic questions.. (if i may)

First: WHY DID THEY FUCK THE BALANCE UP THAT MUCH??

Second: Has there been any talk about an eventual fix or something? Iike an online update or what ever that can fix the balance and make it at least "decent"...? Jesus -_-

Do NOT count on any patches, fixes or really anything for MKvsDC. What you see if you you get. MK9... oh, mk9. lol..
