I was searching through MKsecrets news archive in the april section to see if there were any old pieces of news that we haven't thought of yet. And i found something!!

I found out that in MKD we will also be able to detach people's arms/legs in kombat. There is a picture with Noob Saibot fighting Baraka and Noob clearly only has one arm. A few lines below that picture it says We will be able to sever body parts. So this makes fighting even more interesting. The link is below

That picture does looking interesting, but I'd say that's just the camera angle. However, it could actually be a severed arm.

I eventually found the picture you were speaking about. I searched but i couldnt find any words about severed limbs or anything, but if it is there, the article that information was taken from received this statement from Midway (thanks to MkOnline!!):

"The news source was an outdated and unofficial gameplay document that was not intended for media use. The unofficial information was taken without prior consent or approval from Midway Games and therefore should not be considered accurate and/or official Mortal Kombat news."

To be honest, the picture is too small to be able to tell whether or not Noobs arm has been severed. It may just be in a funny position for all we know.

I don't know what you're talking about. There aren't any limbs missing in that shot. Noob's left arm is behind is leg, and his right arm is reaching towards the camera. You can make out his fingers without any serious trouble.

But if MK:D has this severed limbs while in combat thing, then how are they going to perform fatalities that requires their arms??? confused

I had this idea when they said that, if u beat on a person enough in the match, like say u fucked the other persons arm up when fighting them. Then at the end of the match u can do a limb fatality and do whatever with whatever it hurt alot. Like how Scorpion ripped off of Sindels arms or when Mileena ripped off Li Meis Leg as a fatality. Maybe those arent really one of their fatalitys, just a limb fatality, but it doesnt say limb fatality cause that would be stupid. imo
